Sage is one of the most used aromatic herbs, leafs are used to enhance and intensify the taste of roasts, grilled meat, chicken, to flavour baked or boiled vegetables or to cook first courses easy, quick and tasty, like pasta or gnocchi with butter and sage.
The bio sage plants are grown in the greenhouses, in a protected and always monitored environment. The seeds are planted in small pots filled with bio topsoil, as an alternative they use the cuttings method, in that case they take from the mother plant several cuttings and replant them in separate pots to grow other plants.

Simonato farm has an Organic certification. In 1997 the company chose to convert to organic farming, working the land with due regard to the environment and employing natural resources in a sustainable way (the crops are watered with the ebb and flow system).
