Calisthenics in the Due Carrare park (PD)

At 6.30 pm on 10 September, a new calisthenics facility was inaugurated at the Due Carrare park in Piazza Aldo Moro. The initiative aims to give everyone the opportunity to engage in outdoor physical activity in this communal green space.
The kind donation of the facility, which sits alongside a number of previously installed pieces of equipment, was made possible thanks to the generosity of Carlo Simonato, owner of the Simonato organic company in Due Carrare, Padua. The small area is open to young and old, allowing them to spend a couple of hours engaged in healthy, fun activity.
Davide Moro, mayor of Due Carrare, took part in the inauguration together with deputy mayor Andrea Rosina and lots of young people. Also in attendance were a number of enthusiastic expert athletes, who gave a brief demonstration of the numerous possible exercises in a very interesting and striking display.
During the refreshments, the young people thanked both Simonato and the municipal representatives for the initiative, and their joy and gratitude made for an unforgettable day.
